In the face of the severe situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, all staff members of CNMC's funded enterprise, China Nonferrous Mining Hong Kong Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as the CNMHK), steadfastly adhered to the belief of "serving the country with resources", organized full-load and high-efficiency production in an orderly manner while adhering to the premise of zero importation and zero infection in epidemic prevention and control, and successfully achieved a good start in the first month of production, laying a solid foundation for the full realization of the production and operation targets in 2021.

In 2020, in the face of the sudden Covid-19 epidemic, Chambish Copper Smelter Limited resolutely resisted the pressure from epidemic prevention and control, managed epidemic prevention and control with one hand, and production and operation with the other hand, actively carried out the campaign of "living a tight life", comprehensively focused on "four efficiency gains", and achieved remarkable results in the areas of stable and high production, acquisition of mines, technological innovation, income increase and cost reduction. After achieving a record high copper production of 11,070 tonnes in 2019, the Company set a new record again in 2020, with an expected production of 12,800 tonnes of copper; the copper production and net profit exceeded the planned target by 28% and 19% respectively, achieving a counter-trend growth in production and efficiency.

In 2020, in the face of the sudden Covid-19 epidemic, Chambish Copper Smelter Limited resolutely implemented the work requirement of "grasping with both hands and enhancing with both hands" to co-ordinate the epidemic prevention and control, production and operation, put pressure on itself, overcame many difficulties, carried out a series of measures such as tapping the potential and increasing efficiency, increasing revenue and cutting expenses, tackling difficulties and reducing receivables and stocks , and ensured that the annual production and operation targets were exceeded and the annual net profit was expected to increase by 17.44% over the planned.
