To reward its outstanding Zambian employees and further stimulate all employees’ work enthusiasm, at
14:30pm on 22 December 2012 Zambian local time, CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc. (CLM), a CNMC
enterprise in Zambia, held a year-end award-giving ceremony at its Cinema theater. The ceremony combined
theatrical performance with award giving. The award winners and their family members were invited to the stage to receive the awards.

Recently, CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc. (CLM) and NFC Africa Mining Plc. (NFCA), two CNMCL
enterprises in Zambia, separately completed their 2013 Collective Agreement Negotiations with their trade unions. CLM also reached consensus with its trade union on the pay-rise and other social welfare conditions in 2014, which means it won’t carry out the same negotiations in 2014.

On December 14, 2012 Zambia, the Chambishi Copper Mine West Ore Body Project of NFC Africa Mining Plc. (NFCA), a CNMCL enterprise in Zambia, smoothly passed the completion examination for acceptance by the expert team.

On November 2, 2012, NFC Africa Mining Plc (hereinafter referred to as NFCA), a joint venture between the Zambian and Chinese Government, situate in the Kalulushi District, in its social corporate responsibility, donated an anti-malaria fund to Kalulushi District Health Management Team through the office of the District Administrator – Ms. Joyce Nsamba, in which NFCA is operates. The ceremony was held at NFCA’s Central Control Building conference room on the second floor. On behalf of our company, NFCA Chief Executive Officer
Wang Chunlai presented a cheque of 30 million Kwacha (about 40,000 RMB) to Kalulushi Health Department.
