
By the end of September 2012, Muliashi Leach Plant of CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc, an enterprise of our company in Zambia, had produced 6,300 tons of 99.99% copper cathodes. Customer woos it.
Recently, the Environmental Council of Zambia approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Chambishi Southeast Ore Body, which means the all-out construction of this project is to begin soon.

On August 30, 2012, upon the entrustment by president Michael Sata, Richard Musukua, vice minister of Zambian Ministry of Mining, Energy Sources, and Water Resources Development and Utilization paid an
investigative visit to Sino-Metals Leach Zambia Limited (SMLZ). Accompanying Musukua during the visit were
several other Zambian officials, including Lumanba, director of Zambian Administration of Mine Safety, Howard Simupymuba, mayor of Kaluluxi City, and Joys Ensymuba, administrative head of Kaluluxi City.

On August 29, 2012, CNMCL held its 2012 Interim Results on the fifth floor in Island Shangri-la Hotel Hong
Kong. On behalf of the Company, Mr. Luo Tao, the Chairman, and Ms. Han Hong, the CFO jointly announced
the interim result and answered questions from fellow investors and reporters.
