Since its trial run as on February, the slag concentration project, one of the comprehensive recovery projects of Chambishi Copper Smelter Limited, a Zambia-stationed enterprise of our company, has been running normally. All of its production and technical indexes have reached or exceeded the designed standards.

Recently, NFC Africa Mining PLC (NFCA), a Zambia-registered enterprise of our company, promoted a Zambian employee to its Management. It is part of the localization policy actively implemented by our company, which aims to “put people first and achieve harmonious joint advancement.”

Recently, news from NFC Africa Mining Plc (NFCA for short), a Zambia-stationed enterprise of CNMCL, says that the Chambishi High School classrooms built on the nearly US$ 100,000 of investment have been put into use. This is yet another move of NFCA for fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and benefiting local community.

From August 6 to 7, 2012, accompanied by Tao Xinghu, vice chair of the board and president of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Corporation Limited, Zhang Keli, secretary of CPC Committee for China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., paid an investigating visit to NFC Africa Mining PLC (NFCA for short). China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. is the holding shareholder of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Corporation Limited and NFCA is a company in Zambia with the investment from China Nonferrous Metal Mining Corporation Limited.
