To celebrate May Day International Labor Day, Chambishi Wet Smelting and CNMC Luanshya, enterprises in Zambia funded by the company, organized the 2018 Activity for Celebration of Labor Day on April 28 and May 1, 2018, Zambia local time.

The Company Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer Hu Aibin chaired a compliance training seminar in Zambia on April 19. A total of 22 personnel, including the person in charge of compliance of the enterprises in Zambia and Democratic Republic of the Congo, the General Counsel, CFO and the Financial Manager, attended the meeting.

On April 16, 2018 of Zambian time, the donation ceremony for hemodialysis medical equipment donated by
CCS funded by our Company was held in SinoZam Friendship Hospital. The Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Tao Xinghu attended the donation ceremony and made a speech. The ceremony was presided by Wang Zhiwei, the Deputy General Manager of Zambia-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone).

On April 10, 2018, Chambishi Copper Smelting anode furnace system, invested by the company and located in Zambia, successfully poured the first batch of anode copper plate, with specification of 1,000×970×47mm, single weight of 400kg and grade above 99%, which increased new types of the company’s products based on original blister copper and sulfuric acid, and it is an important measure of the company to greatly improve the market competitiveness of its products and continuously enhance operation performance.
