On January 8, 2018, the General Manager of CNMC Zhang Keli, the Chairman of the Board of Director Tao Xinghu held talks with the Chairman of Congo (DRC) National Mining Company Yuma. Both parties made in-depth exchange on the strengthening of cooperation and the topics of common concern, and reached a broad consensus.

At 18:00, Dec.23, 2017, along with the discharge of the final batch of cathode copper plates, NFCA Luanshya Muliashi Smelting Plant located in Zambia and funded by the Corporation realizes the annual total output of 40,600t copper, with various economic indicators hitting the highest record, to realize the overall achievement of designed output and targets.

On November 28 to 30, 2017,  Mr. Yan Diyong, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, attended the "Asia Copper Week 2017" held jointly by CESCO and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. 

The "2017 China Annual Conference on Philanthropy" themed with "Gathering Together, Keeping Going Forward" was held in China National Conference Center on December 13,  2017. The Annual Conference published the "Public Figures of 2017", the "2017 Public Benefit-based Business" and other awards for public benefit.     CNMC was awarded with the title of "2017 Public Benefit-based Business" by virtue of its outstanding achievements of years in social responsibilities at home and abroad.
