Chambishi Copper Smelter Limited (CCS), a Zambia-stationed enterprise of our company, smoothly completed its seven-days annual equipment overhaul upon production suspension from 24th to 30th October,
2012.

On October 19, 2012, a fourth quarter Mine Rescue Training Exercise was held at NFC Africa Mining Plc
(hereinafter referred to as NFCA), a Zambia-stationed enterprise of our company. The drill was sponsored by Chamber of Mines of Zambia Mines Rescue Association facilitated by NFCA. Five emergency rescue teams from mining companies such as KCM and MOPANI participated in the drill exercise.

On October 22, 2012, Mr. Christopher Silute, Secretary General of Zambia National Union of Mineworkers, and three Zambian employees of NFCA went to Beijing for training and visiting at the invitation of NFCA, a Zambia-stationed enterprise of our company. During their stay in Beijing, they were warmly received by Xu Shusen, union chairperson and vice secretary of CPC Committee for China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CNMC), the holding company.

On October 19, 2012, chair of the board Luo Tao received in Beijing an eight-member visiting delegation of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) headed by Liang Xiaohong, secretary of CPC Committee
for the Academy.
