On July 21, 2013 Zambia local time, Zhou Yuxiao, Chinese ambassador to Zambia, paid an investigating visit to NFC Africa Plc (NFCA), an enterprise of CNMCL in Zambia.

On June 26, 2013, Sino-Metals Leach Zambia Limited (SMLZ), a CNMCL enterprise in Zambia, held a ceremony for signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenyang Nonferrous Metals Research Institute (SNFRI). Leaders from both parties, including Xie Kaishou, DCEO of CNMCL and president of SMLZ, and Yin Wenxin, president of SNFRI, attended the signing ceremony.

On May 29, 2013 local time, a delegation from the Ministry of Land and Resources headed by Liu Lianhe, chief of the Mineral Development Management Department of the said Ministry, paid an investigating visit to CNMC Luanshya, one of CNMCL’s enterprises in Zambia.
