March 8th, 2016, CNMC, the Holding Group of CNMCL, signed the special agreement in terms of financial cooperation in central and southern Africa with China Development Bank and China-Africa Development Fund Co., Ltd in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. This agreement has provided strong guarantee for expanding business and fully implementing ‘going out’ strategy in central and southern Africa by CNMC and CNMCL.
Recently, the 2015 annual China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award announced the “key technology research on Chambishi Copper Mine gently inclined cracked orebody mining and paste filling” maily completed by NFC Africa Mining PLC has won the first prize. It is the sixth year continuously for Zambia Branch of our company to win the first prize of industry science and technology award, which fully shows our company’s competitiveness and influence on science and technology innovation.
On December 28, 2015, SASAC held a law work meeting for central SOEs, SASAC deputy director WANG Wenbin and deputy secretary-general ZHOU Yubo attended the meeting, and director of Policies and Regulations Bureau GUO Xiangyu presided over the meeting.
