On February 2, 2019, Yan Diyong, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice General Manager of CNMC and his delegation, were entrusted by Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and General Manager of CNMC to pay an official visit to the Chinese Ambassador in Zambia Li jie. He expressed his gratitude for the vigorous support that the Chinese Embassy had offered to CNMC and the funded enterprises in Zambia, extended his greetings for the Chinese New Year and held in-depth discussions on the issues of common concern.

On February 9, 2019, Yan Diyong, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice General Manager of CNMC, who was making research and visiting the company-funded enterprises in Congo (DRC), was entrusted by Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and General Manager of CNMC to pay an official visit to the Ambassador in Congo (DRC) Wang Tongqing.

On January 22, 2019, the award ceremony for "Searching for China's Positive Energy·Thumbing-up 2018", which was co-sponsored by Chinaso together with People's Network, XinhuaNet, Guangming Online and other mainstream media and Peking University School of New Media jointly, was held grandly in Capital Hotel.   CNMC was selected in the list of "2018 Thumbing-up Well-Known Enterprises". 

On February 1, 2019, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and General Manager of CNMC met Zhang Jiwen, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Customs and his delegation at the headquarters of CNMC. Both sides made friendly and in-depth exchanges on the issues of maintaining public health safety, safeguarding the health of employees and effectively preventing the spread of infectious diseases, and witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between CNMC and the Health Quarantine Division of the General Administration of Customs.
