On September 9, 2014, Xu Shusen, Deputy Party Secretary of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CNMC”), met with Chansa James, Chairman of Zambia National Union of Miners and Allied Workers, who visited China for a learning purpose. Mr. Xu Shusen and Chairman Chansa James conducted a cordial and friendly talk in Beijing.

On July 28, 2014, Zambian time, Zhang Keli, Secretary of CPC Committee and Vice General Manager of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CNMC”), visited CNMC Africa Mining PLC. (“NFC”) affiliated to CNMCL, under the accompaniment of Tao Xinghu, CEO of CNMCL.

On August 15, 2014, the press conference for the golden jubilee of independence of Zambia and establishment of Sino-Zambia diplomatic relations was held in the Zambia Embassy in China. Sun Jialin, Vice President of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CNMC”), attended the event on behalf of CNMC and delivered a speech.

On July 26, 2014, “2014 Press Conference of Corporate Social Responsibility Report of China Industrial Economic Industry and the Release Ceremony of First Star List of China Industrial Enterprises” was held in the Great Hall of the People. At the conference, China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNMC"), the holding corporation of CNMCL, released the 2013 Sustainability Report of CNMC and was accredited with the title of “Five-Star Enterprise Fulfilling Social Responsibility in China Industrial Sector (2014)”.
