The construction site of NFC, one of our enterprises in Zambia, for the tailing pond of the Southeast Mining Ore Body reported a success on the local time of September 19, 2017, as the dam body for Phase I of its tailing pond was reclaimed to the crest successfully, completed the planned node schedule 40 days in advance.
NFC Africa Mining PLC, an enterprise in Zambia of the Company, completed the ore throughput of 182,000t in August, with the copper concentrate including copper of 3,382t, hitting a new high of main monthly copper output.
In the morning on September 1, 2017, the first manual water well funded and constructed by NFC Huaxin Mabende Mining Co., Ltd. in Democratic Republic of the Congo (“NFC Mabende” for short) was completed, and the villagers of KALAMBANGIRI Village who had suffered from shortage of water for a long time expressed their delight with their traditional dance on the site.
At 1:40 PM of August 20 of Zambia local time, main shaft headframe of Southeast Mine Body of Chambishi copper mine invested by Africa Mining of CNMC was installed in place, and the headframe lifting engineering was successfully completed.
