On July 26, 2014, “2014 Press Conference of Corporate Social Responsibility Report of China Industrial Economic Industry and the Release Ceremony of First Star List of China Industrial Enterprises” was held in the Great Hall of the People. At the conference, China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNMC"), the holding corporation of CNMCL, released the 2013 Sustainability Report of CNMC and was accredited with the title of “Five-Star Enterprise Fulfilling Social Responsibility in China Industrial Sector (2014)”.
Zambia local time, July 20th, 2014, Mr Zhang Keli, secretary of the party committee of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd (CNMC), while visiting a Zambia funded enterprise, had a meeting with Mr Alexander B. Chikwanda, Zambia’s Finance Minister. Mr Tao Xinghu, CNMC’s CEO, was also present.

They visited CNMC Huachin Metals Leach SPRL (hereinafter referred to as “Huaching Leach”), CNMC-Mabende Metal Leach SPRL (hereinafter referred to as “CNMC-Mabende”) invested by the affiliated company Sino-Metal Leach Zambia Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “SMLZ”) in Congo, and the office of SMLZ in Lubumbashi
From July 21 to 23, 2014, a delegation led by Li Yanbin, Director of the SASAC Enterprise Distribution Bureau, visited the enterprises invested by CNMCL in Zambia for research on the investment and development of CNMCL in Zambia under the accompaniment of Zhang Keli, Secretary of CPC CNMC Committee and Tao Xinghu, CEO of CNMCL.
