On April 21, a joint online meeting sponsored by Tsinghua University and organized by China-Africa Leadership Development Institute (CALDI) of Tsinghua University was held between Tsinghua University and Africa-based Chinese organizations on the topic of anti-epidemic cooperation. The meeting was attended by more than 30 participants, including Yang Bin, Vice President of Tsinghua University, Kuang Weilin, former Chinese Ambassador to the African Union (“AU”), Professor Engida from the CALDI, and representatives from Chinese companies and chambers of commerce in Africa. Entrusted by Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (“CNMC”) and Chairman of the Holding Group, Fan Wei, Executive Director and Vice President of CNMC and Assistant General Manager of the Holding Group, attended the meeting.

The good news from CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc. (CLM) show that its annual copper output create a new record, exceeding 55 thousand tons, since its establishment 10 years ago.

On Zambian local time of January 2 to 4, 2020, Vice President of the Board of Directors Zhang Jinjun and his delegation went to CLM, a funded company, for investigation.

On November 9, 2019, local time in Zambia, the annual "Luanshya Agricultural Materials Donation Ceremony" was held in the square in front of the office building of CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines PLC (hereinafter referred to as "CNMC Luanshya"). The MPs of the Luanshya Constituency, the Mayor of the Luanshya City, the District Commissioner (DC) of Luanshya, the Regional Agricultural Coordinator, the Farmers' Representative of Luanshya, the management layer of CNMC Luanshya, as well as media reporters attended the donation ceremony.
