During the Chinese New Year, CNMC's subsidiary in Zambia, NFCA, ("NFCA") carried out a series of cultural and sports activities to welcome the Chinese New Year, taking into account the situation of epidemic prevention and control, to create a harmonious and upward atmosphere, seize the upward trend of copper price and make every effort to stabilize and expand production.
At the beginning of the Year of the Ox, NFCA faced the superimposed pressure of further complications of epidemic prevention and control, the task of reaching standards and production targets in the southeast ore body and production preservation and expansion. NFCA encouraged all staff to turn the pressure into motivation and clarified 8 key tasks of production and operation and 12 key topics of scientific and technological innovation for the whole year, so as to grasp the whole year's work early and effectively.

In addition to the tense production, in order to ensure that overseas employees have a good Chinese New Year, to reassure their families and warm their hearts, and to gather a strong synergy to overcome difficulties, NFCA carried out a series of cultural and sports activities titled "NFCA loves me and I love NFCA": Firstly, NFCA conveyed the "Spring Greetings" CNMC, sent lanterns and spring scrolls to all the funded enterprises under the Group in Zambia. NFCA presented home-grown carps to funded enterprises and suppliers, and expressed New Year's greetings to all Chinese employees of the associate organizations; secondly, the management of NFCA paid New Year's greetings to the grassroots and issued a letter to all employees and their families, thanking them for their hard work, giving a briefing on epidemic prevention and control, production and operation, and logistics services, depicted a blueprint for high-quality development in the 14th Five-Year Plan of NFCA, and sounded a clarion call for people to strive for progress; thirdly, NFCA carried out the activity of "making dumplings to sympathize with front-line employees", and organized employees and their families to make dumplings for the New Year. The fourth activity was the "Civilized Dormitory" competition, in which four "civilized dormitories" were selected and rewarded, taking into account the epidemic prevention and control and further strengthening the personal hygiene management of dormitories; the fifth activity was the staff photography competition to encourage staff to record the positive working life of people of NFCA with their mobile phone cameras; sixthly, a display of excellent staff family letters was held on the platform NFCA WeChat account. 19 of staff's family letters were displayed to show the good spirit of the staff to stand on their posts and realize the vision of a better life for their families; seventhly, a rich and colorful cultural life was carried out under the premise of strict compliance with the regulations of epidemic prevention and control according to local conditions.
