On August 24, 2020, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company and Chairman of the Holding Group, met with Cao Jianguo, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC), who was visiting the Company, at its headquarters in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth conversation on further strengthening cooperation, strengthening complementary advantages and deepening pragmatic cooperation, and witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides together.

He said that CNMC has a full industrial chain of non-ferrous metals, mainly copper, and has unique professional advantages in the field of R&D and production of rare metal materials. AECC has built several key laboratories and innovation centers for national defense science and technology, with strong scientific research and production capacities, as well as more complete R&D and manufacturing systems as well as test and inspection capabilities for military and civil aviation engines and gas turbines. The two sides have a strong complementarity in industry, a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects. It is hoped that both sides will take this strategic cooperation as an opportunity to further develop in-depth practical cooperation in new materials research and development, new materials supporting facilities, industrial capital, resource sharing, etc., and jointly build a world class enterprise with global competitiveness.
