On June 17, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company and President of Holding Group, led a team to China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association to pay a visit to Ge Honglin, Secretary of Party Committee of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. The deep exchange was carried out with Secretary Ge Honglin in such aspects as enterprise production and operation, epidemic prevention and control, international cooperation, reform deepening and common development.
At the symposium, Chairman Wang Tongzhou congratulated Secretary Ge Honglin on his taking a new post, and extended thanks to China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association for its care and support for CNMC all the time, and introduced the production and operation of CNMC since 2019, advantages due to the reform and development and new changes and achievements in recent years, especially the overall situation of boosting the epidemic prevention and control and production and operation since the beginning of this year. He said that CNMC stuck to “all-around considerations and arrangements for the nation as a whole”, and formulated the plans in time based on “large closure, small isolation, same rule, same prevention and control, classified implementation and attention to details” overseas epidemic prevention and control principles, which guaranteed the employees’ safety in the domestic key areas and overseas regions, and ensured the steady enterprise production and operation. In the next step, the Company would focus on resource development, architectural engineering and trade and service (three main businesses), continue to exert great efforts in such fields as reform deepening, business innovation and technical iteration, and persistently make the Company strong, excellent and big and create the world’s first-rate mining enterprise with global competitiveness according to “three-industry collaboration, two-wheel drive and comprehensive change” development strategy. He said that CNMC would insist on regarding Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as guidance, and accelerate the reform and development and internationalization with support from the Association.
Secretary Ge Honglin welcomed the visit of the team led by Chairman Wang Tongzhou, and introduced the main tasks of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association recently. Secretary Ge Honglin fully recognized CNMC’s achievements in the epidemic prevention and control and reform and development. In particular, he said that CNMC played the leading role in “going global” for international cooperation, green mine construction and digital mine, and other fields and made great contribution to the economic and social development.
