A symposium

At the symposium, Chairman Fan Wei warmly welcomed the research team on behalf of LCS. He said that the current administration took decisive, timely, effective and practical prevention and control measures that were in line with the national conditions of Zambia under the leadership of President Lungu during the epidemic period, which well protected the lives and health of Zambian people and foreign investors in the country. He also said that LCS would continue to follow the anti-epidemic guidelines and requirements of the Zambian government, try its best to actively assist the government and the community in controlling the epidemic, and further strengthen communication and cooperation with relevant departments to contribute to the sustainable and healthy economic and social development of Zambia.

Finance Minister DR. Bwalya Ng’andu made a speech on behalf of the research team. He fully affirmed and recognized the rapid and effective measures that LCS took to prevent and fight the epidemic and to increase both production and efficiency. He particularly spoke highly of and appreciated the company’s fulfillment of corporate social responsibility for “not dismissing any employee during the epidemic period, actively increasing the income and welfare of employees, and helping ease the burden of employees to support their families amid the epidemic.” He hoped that LCS would, as always, support the epidemic prevention policy and economic development of Zambia, strengthen government-enterprise cooperation and information exchange, and become an important force to join the fight against the epidemic in the country.
