CLM Hit a New High in Production Index in the First Quarter of 2019

Cathode Copper to be Shipped under the Morning Glow
 
If one is diligent, spring would come earlier.  Triumphant news about production in the first quarter was released by CLM. With only 28 working days in February, which coincided with the Chinese traditional New Year, CLM overcame many difficulties in production organization such as strip mine, stock yard in rainy seasons; CNMC Luanshya Muliashi Copper Hydrometallurgical Plant, Baluba Copper Mine and slag benefication exceeded their designated capacity, with the cumulative amount of copper metal completed of 14,381.73, which increased by 26.31% year on year and reached a new record high.

Among them, CNMC Luanshya Muliashi Copper Hydrometallurgical Plant processed the ore of 1.1374 tons cumulatively, produced the cathode copper of 10,875.73 tons, which set a new record for copper production in rainy seasons; Baluba Copper Mine produced 162,100 tons of ore, and produced the concentrate containing copper of 2,520 tons; the recovery rate of slag benefication reached 57.80%, with a year-on-year increase of 3.28%, and produced the concentrate containing copper of 986 tons.
