On December 19, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and General Manager of CNMC met Luo Mei, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Tibet Autonomous Region and her delegation, and both parties made in-depth exchange and reached broad consensus on further reinforcement of pragmatic cooperation, etc.
During the talks, Chairman Wang Tongzhou expressed his warm welcome to Deputy Chairman Luo Mei and her delegation for their visiting at first, and expressed his gratitude for the long-term care and support that the Government of Tibet Autonomous Region has offered to CNMC, and introduced the reform and development of CNMC as well. He stated that, in recent years, the Government of Tibet Autonomous Region attached great importance to the protection of ecological environment, and developed the characteristic industry benefiting the livelihood vigorously and maintained a good momentum for high-speed development of society and economy. CNMC will implement the decisions and deployments made by the Party and the state fully, and well manage and develop the funded enterprises in Tibet according to the requirements of SASAC of the state council. Under support of the Government of Tibet Autonomous Region, CNMC fulfilled the responsibilities of a central enterprise in a high-quality manner, further integrate into the construction and development of Tibet, and carry out in-depth and practical cooperation in the development of non-ferrous mining resources, construction engineering, procurement of characteristic materials, trade and logistics, etc., thus contributing the strength of central enterprise for the high-quality development of Tibet.
Deputy Chairman Luo Mei expressed her appreciation for the support that CNMC and its funding enterprises have provided for the Tibet's economic and social development. She stated that, Tibet has entered the best period for development in recent years, and promoted the industry of Plateau biological, characteristic tourism culture, green industry, clean energy, border trade and logistics, etc. She hoped that, CNMC could give full play to its own advantage, and develop pragmatic cooperation with Tibet in development of mining resources, green industry, border trade and logistics, etc., so as to make greater contribution to the social and economic construction of Tibet.
Before the meeting, Deputy Chairman Luo Mei and her delegation visited the CNMC exhibition hall.
The heads from relevant departments of the government of Tibet Autonomous Region and relevant enterprises, General Manager Assistant of CNMC Liang Boyi as well as heads of relevant departments from the headquarters attended the above-mentioned events.
