On August 25 local time, Wang Tongzhou, chairman, Party secretary and general manager of CNMC, who was carrying out work research in Democratic Republic of the Congo investigated the construction site of Dizwa Project together with Richard Muyej, Governor of Lualaba Province of Democratic Republic of the Congo, and both Parties made friendly meeting on related topics about resource development.
    
Chairman Wang Tongyu firstly expressed his heartfelt thanks to the great support to Dizwa Mining Company (Dizwa Company for short) and Lualaba Copper Smelting Company by Governor Muyej and each government of Lualaba. He said that the coming 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) will surely start the new era of China-Africa cooperatoin. CNMC will continue responding to the Belt and Road Initiative and increasing investment to Africa, introduce world’s most advanced technology and process, constantly improve the employment rate of local people, promote local economic and social development, further enhance the all-weathered friendship between China and Africa, making active contribution to building a tighter Chin-Africa community of common future. He hoped that Governor Muyej may support the development of CNMC as always, constantly innovating the cooperation modes and realize mutual benefit and win-win result.

Governor Muyej said that he made a field visit to Dizwa Company in June, in just two months, the project construction was rapidly advanced in an orderly and standardized manner, this is the real China Speed, which more firmed his determination to cooperate with CNMC. He said that the Lualaba Mining Indaba to be held in September will further promote the development and utilization of mine, realizing regional development and further promote the economic development of the country. All the time, CNMC is the good friend and partner of Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Lualaba Province will practically support the investment and development of Chinese enterprises in Zambia to realize common development according to the requirement of president Kabila.

Relevant leaders of Holding Group and Company as well as principals of relevant departments and investing companies attended the meeting.
