On August 16, 2018, the Hunan Nonferrous Metals Delegation led by Tangyong, Director of Hunan Nonferrous Metal Administration, visited CNMC Luanshya, accompanied by Ye Guolin, the person in charge of a holding company’s vocational education pilot work. The Delegation was received by Wang Chunlai, the executive director, the vice president and General Manager of CNMC Luanshya, and Wang Jingjun, the executive vice president.

Hunan Nonferrous Metals Vocational and Technical College runs a school jointly with CNMC Luanshya Vocational and Technical School, the company’s funded enterprise. And they are committed to promoting international capacity cooperation, strengthening and improving the status quo of vocational education in Zambia, and solving the technical problems of production and operation of the enterprise. After in-depth exchanges with the management of CNMC Luanshya, the delegation investigated Luanshya Vocational and Technical School on the spot, communicated with Mr. Yamvwa Jorick, the school principal, on matters such as how to help the school to rebuild and upgrade.

The participants in the above visits included Chen Wei, President of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, Fan Yuchuan, President of Hunan Rare Earth Metal Material Research Institute and Xi An’ming, Head of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Vocational and Technical College.
