To improve Chinese employees’ English proficiency and level, CNMC Luanshya has taken use of spare time to provide Chinese employees with English training class and hired Zambian teachers to give concentrated lessons since May 19.

The training teachers are teachers from the two schools affiliated to the Company, such as Ms Sakala and Mr. Chirwa from Trust school and Mr. Yamvwa from the vocational technology college. Zambian teachers’ humorous and passionate teaching style and content added a bright color for Chinese employees’ spare time life and enhanced their understanding on Zambian culture. In EPT test, the Company also selected typical Zambian senior management including Mr. Kamanga, deputy general manager of the party in Zamba, as the examiner to ask questions on site about working matters of relevant department and take part in grading for oral English test of Chinese employees. English training course is given by Zambian teachers and the grading for English test of Chinese employees is made by Zambian senior managements, which embodies the concept of “to make cultural integration and make progress together” as always initiated by CNMC Luanshya.
