Tao Xinghu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Attends China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum

On May 13, 2018, Li Zhanshu, a member of the Standing Committee of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, who was paying a state visit to Mozambique, attended the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum held in Maputo and delivered an important speech. Mr. Tao Xinghu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, also attended the forum.

After listening to the report of relevant information, Chairman Li Zhanshu fully affirmed the achievements of Chinese enterprises on investment and development in Africa. He hoped that the Chinese enterprises funded in Africa would earnestly implement President Xi Jinping’s idea of amity, sincerity, justice and interests on works towards Africa, reflect and implement new development concepts, fulfill corporate social responsibilities, observe local laws and regulations, respect local customs, build a good image of China, images of Chinese enterprises, and images of Chinese citizens, and contribute to deepening China-Africa comprehensive friendly cooperation.

After the forum, Mr. Tao Xinghu, Chairman, said that he would conscientiously study and grasp the spirit on the important speech of Chairman Li Zhanshu, unite and lead the company’s majority of cadres and workers in Africa to forge ahead with determination, blaze new trails in a pioneering spirit, and be enthusiastic and press on through practical actions, grasp excellent situation and rare opportunity for development, totally improve enterprise comprehensive strength, and continue to write a new chapter in China-Africa cooperation and development.

Yan Diyong, Vice Chairman, attends the annual meeting of China Nonferrous Metals Enterprise Cooperation Alliance (CNICA) and is elected as the second Chairman on duty of the first session of the Alliance

The annual meeting of China Nonferrous Metals Enterprise Cooperation Alliance (hereinafter referred to as “Alliance”) and Green Development Forum were convened in Beijing. Chen Quanxun, President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Secretary of the Party Committee, Zheng Chiping, the Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Investment Administration of NDRC, and Ding Xuequan, Vice President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Yan Diyong, Vice Chairman, was elected as the second Chairman on duty of the first session of the Alliance in the meeting, and the new member units, vice chairman units, and supplementary vice presidents of the Alliance were deliberated and approved.

As the new Chairman on duty of the Alliance, Mr. Yan Diyong said that the Alliance would constantly improve communication, coordination and linkage mechanism of “Going Out” within the industry, strive to promote interconnection among alliance member enterprises, fully propel and guide alliance member enterprises to carry out international capacity cooperation in nonferrous industry, and effectively assist the overseas development of industry enterprises in combination with the industry characteristics, enterprise demands and actual situation of member units. Yan Diyong, Vice Chairman, delivered a keynote speech entitled Adhering to Green Development Concept, Participating in the Construction of “the Belt and Road”, and Making Greater Contributions to International Capacity Cooperation in Nonferrous Industry in the Symposium and Green Development Forum held at the same time of the conference. In his speech, the company’s experience in overseas green development and achievements in structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading, technological innovation, and energy conservation and emission reduction were introduced. He specified that if enterprises intend to “Go Out”, the Green Development is a basic requirement and also a guarantee of success. The realization of green development should be regarded as an important driving force for scientific and technological innovation of enterprises in combination of local reality. Enterprises “Going Out” should take the Association as the bridge and Alliance as the link to jointly achieve green development.
