On March 15, 2018, the signing ceremony of the Baluba Copper Mine Mining Project Contract of the funded company CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines PLC was officially held. The signing of the project contract signifies the official launch of the resumption of production of the Baluba copper mine which has been discontinued since July 2015 due to a power shortage.
Since the Baluba Copper Mine was put into production in 1973, the ore bodies of the remaining resources have been slow and thin, and their shapes have changed, which has made mining difficult. Through invitation for bids, the mine resumption of production selected the JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd., a mature and experienced professional mining team, the resumption of production of Baluba will be conducive to the full recovery of mine development and utilization of resources, enhance the company's overall profitability and sustainable development capabilities. After the resumption of production, the Baluba Copper Mine plans to produce 10,098 tons of copper metal annually, with a service life of 5 years.
The two sides exchanged their work plans for resumption of production
