NFC Africa Mining PLC, an enterprise in Zambia of the Company, completed the ore throughput of 182,000t in August, with the copper concentrate including copper of 3,382t, hitting a new high of main monthly copper output.

Since this year, facing multiple difficulties in crossing of production and technical reformation and infrastructure task of the southeastern ore body, NFC Africa Mining PLC has adopted the following measures. First, conduct rational layout surrounding the annual work plan of the Company, organize production meticulously, and keep the production smooth and continuous all the time, thus creating good conditions for high and stable output. Second, organize the production in key regions such as successive mining area mainly according to actual situation of the stope; meanwhile, supervise the efficiency of mining machine-team of approach and the circulation of mining and filling of stope strictly, and then the comprehensive machine-team efficiency of mining has been improved by 10% and the average ore removal capacity of the western ore body has reached 3,806t/d, achieving the best level so far and exceeding the design capacity of 3,000t/d by about 806t/d. Third, after conducting integrated management of trackless equipment and production by combining the thought of western ore body reconstruction and enhancing efficiency of equipment personnel, various technical and economic indexes have been stabilized and enhanced.

As of August, NFC Africa Mining PLC has completed the ore throughput of 1,011,300t accumulatively; the copper concentrate includes copper of 18,750t, which is 1,120t more than the amount specified in the schedule.
