CNMC Was Awarded the Title of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China"

Recently, the "2017 Conference on Sustainable Development of Chinese Enterprises" was held at the Beijing International Convention Center. Li Yi, the member of Standing Committee of CPPCC, the Deputy Director of Committee for Economic Affair, the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Chairman of CFIE attended the conference and made a keynote speech.   

CNMC stood out from many eligible enterprises by virtue of outstanding achievements in economy, environment, society and other aspects, and won the title of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China"(2016)", the only enterprise that ranks on such list for 3 consecutive years from nonferrous industry among the 52 eligible companies.

The title of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China" represents the advanced intra-industry management level and the level to perform the responsibilities, an identification for resource-saving and environment-friendly enterprises with good economic, environmental and social benefits. Winning such title can promote the establishment of the industrial benchmark for industrial enterprises and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises and brand influence actively. This assessment adopted the method that was based on the enterprise database benchmarking with the expert grading as the supplement, which was to make an integrated assessment for the eligible enterprises in social responsibility and values, the promotion and management of the social responsibility, economy, environment, social influence, responsibility performance and innovation and other aspects in 2016, and it is the most authoritative assessment for the industrial enterprises in fulfilling the social responsibilities in China. CNMC would take this award as an opportunity to further enhance social responsibility image and brand influence so as to provide a powerful guarantee for the realization of the strategic development target.
