Sun Jialin, Deputy General Manager of the Holding Group of CNMCL, visited four Zambia branches of CNMCL for research from May 19 to 31, 2016.

During the research, Mr. Sun Jialin visited some production sites such as the main and west mine bodies of NFCA Chambishi Copper Mine, the Muliashi wet smelter of CLM, bismuth extraction plant of Copper Smelting Company, the Mwambashi mine of SML and so on. He also heard all about reports from supervisors of funding enterprises on the production and operation, quality and efficiency improvement, technological innovation, information management and other work. He fully affirmed the effectiveness and initiatives of the quality and efficiency improvement carried out by respective enterprises.

As for the next step, Mr. Sun Jialin put forward four requirements: first, quality and efficiency improvement shall be further implemented with strengthened confidence, and precise force; second, sound planning on science and technology shall be developed, and cooperation with domestic universities and research institutes shall be strengthened so as to explore the potential in scientific and technological innovation; third, information system construction shall be emphasized for the effective application of information management to finance, production, personnel management and other aspects; Fourth, we should spare no efforts to promote the construction projects, coordinate and solve difficulties and problems existing in the construction of the project, and ensure the quality and quantity and complete the construction tasks in accordance with the time node. Mr. Sun Jialin said that CNMC will continue to support the reform and development of enterprises in Zambia.
