On November 27^th, 2015, “Internet+ Social Responsibility Management Innovation and the 2015 Annual Summit on Sustainable Competitiveness of Chinese Enterprises” was held in Beijing. The Summit issued Enterprise Public Transparency Bluebook, Chinese Enterprise Public Transparency Report (2015-2016) No.2, selected and conferred “Exemplary Award on Public Transparency ” and other prizes. By excellent practice and fully detailed report on fulfilling social responsibilities, Investment Holding Corporation China Nonferrous Metal Group won the honor of “2015 Public Enterprise Transparency • Best Award of Overseas Communication and Practice”.

Co-sponsored by Chinese Institute of Business Administration and Social Responsibilities Professional Committee, China Federation of Industrial Economies, Research on Chinese Industries and Enterprises Social Responsibilities Think Tank and Beijing Rong Zhi Corporate Social Responsibility Institute, this Summit was attended by more than 100 people, including the leaders from government organizations and industrial associations of State Council State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Federation of Industrial Economies, China National Textile and Apparel Council, China Association of Communication Enterprises and Securities Association of China, experts and scholars of higher education research institutions from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Peking University, representatives of international organizations from United Nations Development Program, International Red Cross and British Embassy, as well as representatives from enterprises at home and abroad and NGOs.

Over the past few years, China Nonferrous Metal Group and China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group have been always actively fulfilling their social responsibilities, with more than 7.5 billion dollars accumulative investment, nearly 300 million dollars tax and over 20 million dollars donation in countries along “One Belt and One Road” and African countries; also they have invested and established overseas hospitals, schools and city infrastructure, actively participated in all kinds of disaster relief activities and devoted themselves to local charity cause at abroad. Since 2011, China Nonferrous Metal Group has issued consecutively 4 corporate enterprise social responsibilities reports, 3 social responsibilities country reports, built the organic connection between the view of social responsibility on “releasing resource value and building social harmony” and six liability issues on international operation, technological innovation, quality security, environmental protection, staff care and corporate citizenship, and systematically summarized communication and cooperation between corporate and interested party. As a result, it has promoted economic development, built social harmony and made efforts in creating the best comprehensive value on social responsibility practice. Also the report revealed that the core index on fulfilling social responsibility by China Nonferrous Metal Group and China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group possesses continuity, comparability, objectivity and balance.
