Zhang Keli, the General Manager of CNMC, Made an Investigation and Survey to Non-ferrous Corporation Africa Mining PLC

Zhang Keli, the General Manager and the Secretary of Party Committee of CNMC, and Tao Xinghu, the Deputy General Manager of CNMC and CEO of CNMCL, made an investigation and survey to Non-ferrous Corporation Africa Mining PLC (hereafter referred to as NFCA) on June 25 of local time.

The General Manager Zhang Keli listened to Zhang Jinjun, the Secretary of Party Committee of NFCA on the production and operation of NFCA from January to May 2015 and future key work arrangement during the instigation and survey, and fully affirmed the achievements that NFCA had made in the work. He pointed out that, NFCA resisted the outside pressure when facing with complicated international economic situation in 2015, made great efforts in cost control and technical innovation, and had achieved outstanding results in tunneling footage and the extracted ore tonnage of west orebody and other indicators, which were all greater than those last year. All these achievements did not come easily. The General Manager Zhang Keli proposed four requirements to be followed for the next specific work of NFCA: i) keep the mission in mind, strengthen the conviction, and try best to overcome the difficulties in current production and operation; ii) speed up the pace of the technological innovation, find out the "bottleneck" that restricted the production so as to improve the production and efficiency; iii) strengthen the management and focus on cost management and control; iv) develop the construction plans seriously, advance steadily and accelerate the key project under construction.
Tao Xinghu, the Chief Executive Office of CNMCL, put forward specific requirements for the production and operation of NFCA and South-East orebody: i) enhance the management over the contractors and lower down the cost and improve the efficiency by increasing the extraction efficiency; ii) accelerate the construction of South-East ore body further and urge the engineering design units to perfect its work and observe the engineering plan to develop the construction.

The Deputy General Manager of CNMC and the General Manager of NFCA Wang Chunlai noted that, NFCA would will be required by the company, further strengthen the construction of working style for the leading body, improve the execution force and implementation capacity, lead all leading cadres and working staff to make persistent efforts and work hard so as to promote the construction of various project steadily in South-East orebody and go all out to win the "fierce competition", and strive to complete all the production and operation mission in 2015.
Zhang Keli, the General Manager CNMC and Tao Xinghu, the CEO of CNMCL, also had conversations with the representatives of Zambia side and expressed their thanks for their strong supports to the development of NFCA.

Members of the NFCA leading cadres, heads of relevant departments of CNML also kept company with the investigation and survey.
