President Luo Tao Paid a Visit to Lungu, President of Zambia in Beijing

On the morning of Mar. 30, 2015, Luo Tao, Chairmen of the Board of CNMCL and General Manager of CNMC, Zhang Keli, Sectary of Party Committee of CNMC, Luo Xinghu, CEO of CNMCL visited at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse His excellency Edgar C. Lungu, President of Zambia during his state visit to China.

Chairman Luo Tao briefed His excellency President Lungu on the latest investment in Zambia by CNMC and the company. On behalf of all the staff of CNMC, he extended warm congratulations to President Lungu on his presidency in Zambia. The Sino-Zambia Forum for Economy, Trade and Tourism will be jointly held by CNMC and Zambian Embassy in China. With respectful genuineness, General Manager Luo Tao has invited President Lungu to the forum.

His Excellency President Lungu delivered a keynote speech in the 2015 Annual Convention of Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan that he just attended. In the opening speech on March 28, President Lungu remarked that Africa is on the path to promote economic integration, and Africa will continue to implement economic and social change so as to achieve affluence and prosperity, who looks forward to support from Asia. As one of the important representatives of Asian companies in Zambia, CNMC has taken root in Zambia since 1998, and grown as the largest Chinese-funded enterprises in Zambia. During the meeting, His Excellency President Lungu fullly affirmed CNMC's contribution to the economic and social development of Zambia , and gladly accepted to the invitation to "Sino-Zambia Forum for Economy, Trade and Tourism".
