Chairman of the Board of CNMCL Luo Tao attending Sessions of the NPC & CPPCC and seriously performing his obligation as a NPC representative

The third session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the third session of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) was opening successively on March 3 and March 5, 2015.With the care for people’s livelihood, the representatives and committee members of the sessions actively proposed valuable advices on the national economic and social development, which they take as their missions and obligations. Luo Tao, the NPC representative and the chairman of the Board of CNMCL, attended the both sessions of the NPC and CPPCC as a member of Heilongjiang delegation.

Last year, the chairman Luo Tao submitted a motion regarding formulation of Overseas Investment Law of People’s Republic of China. This year on the sessions of the NPC & CPPCC, Luo Tao submitted “a motion regarding formulation of sustainable development law for resource exhausted cities. He actively promotes the legislative work on the state level, and put in diligent work to make contribution to the magnificent program of governing the nation by law.

During the sessions, Zhang Baowen, the vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, had a cordial talk with Luo Tao, giving a full recognition, and expressing an ardent expectation for the reform and development of China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited. Luo Tao also had a sufficient communication with Lu Xin, the Mayor of Mudanjiang City from Heilongjiang delegation, and was interviewed by media like China Nonferrous Metals News.
